Welcome, peasants of the Earth, for your yearly peek at how the other half lives. Today's target of jealousy and oggling eyes is the world's most expensive smartphone.
As introduced on TechBlog and shown in the image at top, it's an iPhone 4S covered in gold and diamonds on sale to the tune of 9.5 million dollars.
The Apple logo itself features 24 carat gold and 53 diamonds. The phone is bordered in 24 carat gold and studded with 500 diamonds, for a total of 100 carats worth of diamonds. Even the home button is just one big 8.6 carat diamond.
Additionally, the case for this thing is made out of platinum and an OMFG Tyrannosaurus Rex bone. For serious. A dinosaur bone phone case. It's like they were thinking, "What's more expensive than platinum or gold? How about T. Rex bone? Sure, let's throw that on there."
Here are some more pics to drool over:
This single iPhone costs the equivalent of the lifetime wages of you and 3 of your coworkers combined... Oh, to be rich...
The funny thing is though, it's already outdated. You drop 9.5 mil on your shiny new iPhone 4S, and it's already made obsolete by the iPhone 5. Chump!
