LINE POP is the puzzle game based on the super-popular LINE free voice/text app. While this game doesn't offer a global leaderboard, it does let you broadcast your scores to your LINE friends.
If you're looking to impress your friends with sky-high LINE POP scores, take a look at the video we've posted below. The video is only a minute and 20 seconds long, but a single view will improve your scores greatly.
The player in this video managed a whopping 910,020 points! Crazy!
It looks like they're just randomly tapping and flicking their way to highscore heaven, and that's pretty much what they're doing. You have 1 minute of playtime, so the most important thing to do is keep as many blocks moving as possible.
We tried this strategy out here, and Kohei managed 40,000 points on his first try, and 45,000 points on his second. Daisuke had never played the game before, skipped the tutorial, and only managed to get a little less than 10,000 points on his first try. On his third try, however, he got a stunning 113,870 points without even understanding the rules! Pretty amazing strategy, eh?
We tried this strategy on Zoo Keeper, from which LINE POP "borrows" heavily, but found it less effective due to the larger grid of Zoo Keeper (8x8) vs LINE POP (7x7).
There's a good amount of luck involved, but this strategy is worth giving a shot. If you can combine this with an actual knowledge of the rules (I'm looking at you, Daisuke...) and some practice, you can probably get some ridiculously high point totals. Just remember to keep them fingers movin' quick.
