That hardest-to-get-your-hands-on smartphone, the iPhone 5, has now been even further rare-ified thanks to a 24-carat gold coating courtesy of Gold & Co.
The gold iPhone 5 is available for purchase in such havens for rich dudes as Dubai, Hong Kong, Russia, and India in various resort areas. The price of the thing hasn't been made public, but we do know it comes in both "gold" and "rose gold" versions, which is a choice I know I'd find nearly impossible to make.
Taking a look at the official Gold & Co. London website, even my poor eyes are attracted to all the glittery, over-the-top luxury catch copy ("nothing less than the best") and cheesy Flash-ish menus.
In addition to the gilded iPhone 5, you can also
waste your money on buy golden Blackberries and golden iPads. You can check them out here.
There have been reports of iPhone 5s chipping easily, but you should have no such problems if your iPhone is finished in gold.
That's not how gold works? You mean that's not the only reason someone would want a gold iPhone?
