Smartphones have become a must-have item for teenagers.
The research by CyberAgent, Inc., one of the Japan's leading internet media companies, shows that 23% of junior high and high school girls use the smartphones over 10 hours a day!
10 hours! What?? How many times they need to recharge the phone during 10 hours. I guess they need twice at least.
Also the research shows that 25% of those use more than 6-9 hours and 30% use 3-5 hours, and that means 48% uses 6 hours and 78% use 3 hours per day. For what purpose are teenagers using their smartphones so much?
According to the research, the most popular game app among teenagers is Mushroom Garden. No wonder why Mushroom Garden has such amazingly high ratings.
Also, teenage girls use emails mostly to get in touch with their friends. Secondly, they use LINE. I didn't expect LINE to have become so popular amongst teenagers. The middle aged guys like myself use Skype right after emails.
This research clearly shows that teenage girls are so quick to catch on to new and exciting apps.
But, I think playing with the smartphone 10 hours a day is a way too much and these girls should control themselves a little!
