A cute widdle kitty for your homescreen is what Nuko Battery brings to the table. Nuko Battery is a basic Android widget that tells you how much battery you have left. But this is no ordinary widget, as your nuko (a common and cute typo of the word "neko," Japanese for "cat") pal has quite a personality.
As I said, the app is pretty basic and easy-to-use. Just pick out this app from Android's widget settings, and you're done. Then your nuko is on his/her/its own, showing you your battery level and rambling on and on.
"No mail today...again..." So lonely...
"My boyfriend uses a velcro wallet. So embarrassing"
The one-liners are always fun to read. It makes looking at your homescreen fun again.
The basic app is free, but an extra 150 yen can get you more lines and let you interact slightly with your nuko. I sprang for the paid version, here are some of the things your nuko says:
Reading what your nuko says is a good time waster. Spend some time together and I'm sure you'll get along just swell.
