Maybe you've heard of the cat-shaped earphone jack covers that took the Twitter-verse by storm and became a hit item. Some of you reading this might already be using one.
And, as you might expect with super-popular, easy-to-make toys, copies are already hitting the market, as the makers of the earphone jack covers stated on their official blog.
The blog shows a couple comparison shots of the real product and the knock-offs. As you can see, the fake ones are quite a bit smaller than the real covers. There's one comparison pic that's especially shocking. Take a look.
On the left, a healthy, happy looking cat. On the right, a sickly, zombie-like creature with a bad case of the thousand yard stare. What horrors have you witnessed, poor fake earphone jack cover cat?! That gaze is supremely unsettling.
Naturally, if you accidentally buy the fake one, you're going to be pretty disappointed. The packages are pretty similar, so make sure you take a close look at what you're buying before you take it to the register.
