We used to have very childish and futile arguements over how the title FINAL FANTASY should be abbreviated. It just proves how much we all love this game, and now FINAL FANTASY III is in Google Play for 1,400 yen.
As of this writing, there have been more than 2,500 reviews in Google Play since its release on 27th June. I have to admit that I was not so excited at this remake after all these years, but I was wrong. This is fun and brings back memories.
So here's my review with tips and tricks in attacking the earlier part of the game. By the way, it can be downloaded from SQUARE ENIX Market.
The game starts with the lead character, you, falls in a cave, and gets attacked by the goblins. Now this is only a turoial, so you can just fight back either by selecting one of the actions (classic method), or tapping them directly on the screen. Make sure you're used to it.
There's no cross control button in this game. Rather you flick on the screen towards the direction you intend to move to. This is quite a fresh approach.
Makes sure you pick up and equip yourself with a "leather shield" and "long sword". Oh, and don't forget "antarctic wind".
On the way if you advance through the path on the right, there's a founatin of healing. This will save your "portion".
When you reach the deepest spot, you will face the boss character Land Turtle. You're much more agile than playing on the Nintendo. Don't hesitate to use "portion" when your HP hits below 10. Attacking with "antarctic wind" is effective.
When you're finished with the boss character, you're finally outside to be traveling to where the world map leads you to. Our battle starts here!
(Please stay tuned for more tips and tricks of our own. And do not forget to save your game from time to time.)
