Being an otaku is often associated with the lack of exercise. But it's also an otaku's nature to fantasize having great powers and fighting abilities.
So MoePunch, a game that lets you play shadow boxing with a lovely sparring partner, is appealing in both senses.
I've been an indoors type of guy my entire thirty-something years of my life, and here is the first results of my punching level test with this app.
Not sure if "2" means anything in terms of punching strength, but I accept it. I'm sure MoePunch will turn a weak guy like me into a manly man... I hope...
Above is the screenshot of the Shadow Boxing Mode.
Although having a girl on screen is exciting enough, shake your smartphone as if you're actually punching for her to show more reactions (with lovely poses and voices). The amount of calories burned is also displayed on the screen, but to me, it doesn't really matter at all. All I care is the girl's voice!
If you continue sparring, new voices will be unlocked. Be noted that the voices in MoePunch are outrageously erotic! Voices that have nothing to do with boxing are also included. Amazingly, there are 88 different voice patterns in this app.
The voices are too erotic to be expressed in words so I'll show you the official demo video published in Android Market.
The purpose of punching is getting lesser and lesser, but the game is addictive and you'll forget how tired your arms are. I had to stop at one point after hearing my wrist snap. To all otaku who lack exercise: sudden and strong movements can and will hurt you. Be careful!
However, hard work indeed leads to results. My punching level has improved from 2 to 56!
To tell the truth, I doubt the punching level is reliable, but hey, it's just a game.
