Pictam is a photo-edit app for Android, similar to Instagram on the iOS. There are many other photo-edit apps out there, but Pictam is the best when it comes to sharing photos with others. You can add fancy effects to your shot and tweet it.
I took two pictures for demonstration, one photo of an indoor plant, and another picture of dusk in Fall. It is also possible to edit pictures you took in the past. If you choose to take a new picture with Pictam, the photo taken will be automatically cropped into a square.
Choose one effect from the six available styles, and your snapshot turns into a work of art. The first photo below is the original one without any effect, and the six styles are, from left to right, Telescope, MATSURI, Calm, Nostalgia, Fuzz, Orange pekoe.
You need to have a Twitter account to use Pictam, but you can choose whether or not to upload your picture.
Another nice option is the topic feature that allows you to label your pictures when you tweet them, which really comes in handy. It's a lot of fun just flipping through pictures by their labels.
You can also create your own topics, so it can be used for such purposes like gathering pictures to make a homemade town guide with your friends. There's no limit to the ways of playing with this app.
