"Another 80's retro game review?"
If you thought so, hold on. This one is different. Ringo looks like a retro game with 8-bit graphics, but when you start playing, it has the magic to keep you playing.
You're a little boy in the game. Move your character anywhere you like, and try to pick up the apple.
If you picked up the apple, the effect shown below appears, and you can move forward to the next stage.
Sometimes, messages with deep meaning will appear. There are more than 500 messages and effects like that in the game.
Below is the setup screen. Very brief, but pretty friendly.
The rhythmic changes between two stages and the impressive BGM in the game can not be described in a mere review. So try the game for yourself instead.
The original version on iPhone/iPod became a cult classic, which is understandable.
The idea, the atmosphere, and the smooth control; there are numerous touch-only games on the market, but Ringo is the most mysterious and relaxing game containing all of said elements.
Welcome to the friendly doodlebug's pit.
