Attention all sega fans!
ChuChu Rocket!, the popular action puzzle game originally released on Dreamcast has now been ported to Android
Use the arrow panels wisely to guide the little mice (ChuChus) to their rocket. But be careful, there are hungry cats on the prowl, and bottomless pits to avoid. Calculate their route and place the arrow panels correctly to keep your little friends safe.
The puzzle mode for single player has over 500 unique puzzles on the Android version. The original Dreamcast version only had 100 puzzles, and the iPhone version had 145 puzzels, so the Android version is a great deal. Of course, a four player battle mode is also available in the game.
This game is released by Sega of America so the menu texts are in English by default. If you prefer Japanese, you can always change your language preferences in "Help & Options" menu.
For those playing the game for the first time, following the tutorials is a good choice as there are no enemies in this mode. The rules are pretty simple, so no big deal if you skip it.
In puzzle mode, the only thing to do is to place arrow panels in advance and hit the "Start→Dash" button. Then the ChuChus will follow your guide and head to the rocket. If you fail, just rearrange the position of the arrow panels and try again. There is no retry limits in this mode.
The difficulty of the puzzles increases, and you must figure out the right timing for the ChuChus to hit the panel in order to avoid attacks. This can't be done easily, so keep trying.
Among the masterpieces of Dreamcast, this game is especially a great one for it's simplicity and the ability to enliven the atmosphere. So if you have Android users around you, why not invite them to play some battle games together?
