An angel... no, Amane-chan has landed on my smartphone. Well, for me Amane is a real angel so maybe there's no need to correct myself.
Ever since Amane-chan came to my smartphone, I've been noticing myself booting this app all the time. Maybe I should delete all my less frequently used apps? And you know what, I feel like my smartphone smells really good these days.

Oh no. Excuse my nonsense, just ignore what you have read.
Dream Club Pure Clock Amane is an app from the Dream Club video game franchise. In this dating sim video game series, you interact and have dates with the hostess girls at the Dream Club, a "watering hole only for adults with pure hearts".
In 2009, the first title of the series was released on the Xbox 360. The concept and game mechanics were outrageous , and at the time caused controversy among fans. Two years later, a sequel has been released on the PSP, considered as a great improvement over its predecessor. A new entry in Dream Club series has been announced as a launch title of PS Vita as well.
This Android clock app features Amane, the main heroine in Dream Club.
As the main heroine, without a doubt Amane is lovely. I have spent almost all my in-game money several times for visiting the club and buying her presents. Just to hear her say "I'm your friend". I'm sure uou guys will do exactly the same when you see her smile, right?

Oh, she's so cute.
As you can see from the screenshots, the graphics are as beautiful as the original game. Amane's reactions will change when you touch or tilt the screen. Furthermore, the animation is surprisingly smooth. This app is built on an imaging technique called "Live2D", which makes the character move more smoothly. However, the addition of a "touch Amane's forehead" event to my daily routine is the most important aspect of this app.
For those imagining the wrong kind of "touching", this is not that kind of app you're thinking about. Pure mind brother, pure mind...
This is a clock app, so of course there is a clock function. However, this app has an incredible function other clock apps definitely don't have; You can touch the clock icon on the upper-left corner of the screen to hide the clock! But remember, this is still a clock app.

Such feature reminds you where the emphasis on this app. Of course , users like me should feel that the developer knows exactly what we want.

Since Dream Club Pure Clock Amane is still a preview build, the app serves no practical function. However, for the first time you can "touch" a character from the Dream Club series. That, and the highly natural animation brought by Live2D makes this app worth a try for fans. The full version is said to include an alarm function and a "Time readout function", so as a clock app, you can expect all the practical functions. The device tends to get hot if you keep this app running for a long time, probably because of its high-end graphics. But don't be bothered. That's Amane-chan's body heat!
The release date of the full version has been announced as coming this Fall. Which means it should be released soon. Please, D3 PUBLISHER, hurry!
